G for Good
Many of the responsible travel initiatives G Adventures created fell under the umbrella of G for Good. Breaking down these projects and communicating how they worked helped travellers feel confident they were going to have a great trip but also help others at the same time. Here are a few projects within G for Good I worked on.
Child welfare
To ensure G Adventures tours protect children, their non-profit partner introduced a Child Welfare Policy. To educate travellers on common practices that are believed to be okay but actually put kids at risk, we created this video. The goal? Enlighten but don’t wrist-slap.

The ripple score
G Adventures is the first tour operator to score tours based on local impact. For video, we wanted to break down how that score is created for travellers and the benefits this score creates. For the print piece below, Jane Goodall requested information about the Ripple Score to give to high-profile connections to educate them on this system and how it benefits local communities. Some cool people are going to get this print piece, but we can’t name names.
